Montonio has entered a stage of intense, rapid growth and we need someone to make sure that we are able catch the bad guys who are trying to use our services. This is a huge challenge and we need the brightest and most talented  KYC Officer to join our AML team to help us do just that. You will work closely with compliance, sales and customer support teams to ensure the proper risk mitigation while retaining the seamless customer experience. 

Your daily missions:

• Customer due dilligence (CDD) and ongoing due diligence (ODD) on our customer base
  
• Conduct PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening
  
• Carry out internal investigations to identify suspicious activities
• Transaction monitoring
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure compliance with KYC/AML requirements within the company;
• Collaborate with and support our teams on process improvements
• Proactively look for ways to enhance the AML/CTF processes in our everyday operations.

Our expectations for you:

• At least 1-2 years of experience in KYC (preferably onboarding)
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian AML/CTF regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to explain complicated matters in an easy way
• Solid analytical skills, high level of quality, and attention to detail
• Self-starter who's not afraid to work autonomously

Bonus points for:

• Hands-on experience with automating CDD tools
• Knowledge of setting up risk assessment parameters
• Work experience in a fintech or a fast-paced startup
