The Role:
We need someone to make sure that we are able to catch the baddies who are trying to use our services. This is a huge challenge and we need the brightest and most talented AML Officer to join our AML team to help us do just that. You will work closely with compliance, sales and customer support teams to ensure proper risk mitigation while retaining seamless customer experience.
What you will do:
- Perform customer onboarding and assess AML/CTF related risks, if necessary apply EDD measures
- Perform ODD on already existing customers
- Perform transaction monitoring and request additional information
- Perform PEP and sanctions screening and monitoring
- Take ownership of process development and improvement within the team
- Communicate and advise colleagues on AML/CTF matters.
Our expectations for you:
- 👨💻 At least 1-2 years of experience in KYC (preferably onboarding)
- 🕵️♀️ Knowledge of 🇱🇹 Lithuanian AML/CTF regulations
- 🇬🇧🇱🇹 Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English and Lithuanian will be key in effectively communicating with our teams and sometimes directly with our merchants. We want to ensure seamless interactions and understanding.
- Your openness to receiving feedback is equally important to us.
- 🤔 Solid analytical skills, high level of quality, and attention to detail
- 😎 Self-starter who's not afraid to work autonomously
Bonus points for:
- Hands-on experience with automating CDD tools
- Knowledge of setting up risk assessment parameters
- Work experience in a fintech or a fast-paced startup
- Polish, Latvian or Finnish Language
